Hey everyone! I wanted to take a moment to thank each and everyone one of you that came out to my Taste of South Coast Plaza Event. I was so touched that so many of you drove all the way from LA, SGV, to Orange County just to support me! And at 11 am on a Sunday when you could have been sleeping in! It was so nice to see everyone and meet so many new people that are making their mark and making a difference in the community.

The set up was so cute. I loved how intimate it was. It made it easy for everyone to walk around and meet each other. I'm so happy that so many friends connected with other friends. It's a small world after all!  Let's talk food!

There was so much food. It wasn't any ordinary food either! It was quality food from some of the best restaurants in South Coast Plaza! The restaurants that participated were:

-Scott's Restaurant and Bar (Click here for my previous review on Scott's)

-Seasons 52 (Click here for my previous review on Scott's)

-Morton's The Steakhouse

-Z Cafe

-Vie de France

-Lawry's Carvery (Note: Lawry's is not the same as Lawry's Carvery)

-Quattro's

-Godiva

It had been long time since I had tried Vie de France so I was very excited to get to try them at the event. Each vendor brought their best dishes that represented their restaurant. It truly was the best of the best. Godiva did their lovely truffle chocolates. Everyone was stuffed full. IMG_8836This was my favorite drink of the day! A Pomegranate Hibiscus Lemonade! Scott's always goes above and beyond! Hats off to Chef Mike and the whole crew!IMG_8838Scott's Restaurant & Bar.IMG_8839Scott's Restaurant and Bar. This is the amazing organic salad I was talking about in my previous post that completely changed my mindset towards salad! Read about it here!IMG_8841Quattro's Cafe did two delicious traditional Italian pastas. IMG_8842Sandwiches by Z Cafe.IMG_8843

Vie de FranceIMG_8845More delicious creme puffs for desserts! IMG_8844IMG_8850Vie de France baked all their croissants and pastries fresh that morning just for the occasion! You could smell and taste the difference! IMG_8848Yummy Godiva truffles!IMG_8849Still thirsty?

Morton's prime rib sandwich was truly a stand out! Wow... I cannot wait to go back! I wish I ate 5 of these! Sometimes it sucks to be hosting the event when you want to be stuffing you face! The food was taunting me!

Lawry's Carvery brought their A Game! The cream of corn was delicious as always! The prime rib sandwich was melt in your mouth good!

As usual, Seasons 52 rocked their mini indulgence desserts! Now that I've tasted every flavor, I definitely have my favorites. These are the smoothest mooses out there! IMG_8855Thank you to all the members of the media that came to eat and cover the event! Thanks to the students that came all the way from UC San Diego's Alpha Kappa Delta Phi sorority. Thanks to the board members of UC Irvine's Chinese Association that stopped by and also to all the professionals in industry that came by to share their insight with everyone that came just to make new friends and bond over some great food! It was a pleasure hosting and emceeing such a tasty and fun event!
