Jan 11 Flying Through the Skies

How did you start off your 2015? I found myself at the Fullerton Airport near Orange County. How amazing is this bright yellow 1935 inspired Waco Biplane? Jeff and I got to sit in for a mini 15 flight tour of Fullerton from 1000 feet in the air with the supervision of Mike, the pilot of Sky Thrills. The guys pulled out the plane to get it ready and I...did my part by dressing the part. Fake it til you make it right? Let's be real. Would you trust this face to fly you? I hope you said answered no to that question. Before we knew it, we were flying all over Fullerton from a bird's eye aerial view. The ride was extremely smooth. The pilot, Mike, did some zero gravity tricks so that it felt like we were on a roller coaster. He also slowed down the plane from 90-100 mph to 55 just so we could experience different feelings. Overall, aside tom the scheduling mishaps on the part of SkyThrills, we had a great time. I hope we can come back and learn stunts on a different plane in the future!
