Hello Kitty Takes Over Glendale & Irvine
FOOD NEWS: The Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container is open at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, CA. The kawaii makeshift restaurant is housed within a metal shipping container and will be officially open to the public on Friday, July 15. There will be grand opening festivities scheduled to run through Sunday, July 17. There will also be grand opening giveaways as well. Hello Kitty fans will be treated to a brand new menu featuring adorable pies, delicious cakes and unique sweet treats. There will also be artisanal sodas and specialty coffee drinks brewed using Portola Coffee Lab coffee. An expanded menu featuring additional Sanrio characters and specialty daily tea service will debut later this year. My friend just picked up a Hello Kitty pie from them this morning so I can't wait to go!
In addition to the pop-up container, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will also be making a stop next Saturday, July 16th at the Glendale Galleria from 10am to 8pm for those that don't want to make a trek all the way to Irvine and want to stay in LA County.
Of course, I will be there bright and early for the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck in Glendale. Make sure to tune in at 10 am on July 16th to see me live stream the event! To be part of the live stream or to view it after the fact, click here.
