Steamed Pork Ribs, Spicy & Sour Noodles, Oh My!

The Steamed Pork Ribs (fen zhen pai gu) is steamed with rice powder and it's pretty tasty. The steamer is filled with spicy pork ribs piled atop of sweet potatoes, which soak up the flavors and juices from above. Mmm... Mmm... Mmm... the sweet potatoes are making me drool right now just thinking about them!

Look at the inside view! It's like finding a prize at the center!

Now don't get me wrong, this was pretty good, but it still can't even compare to the ones I've had in Taiwan. Those are the absolute best, but hey we're in LA and this is almost as good as it can get!

Another favorite is their #22 Spicy Sweet Potato Pho. The English translation is a little weird, but  in Chinese, it’s called Suan La Fen, which translates to sour and spicy noodles. It was a tad too spicy for me, but what can you do? I'd rather my tongue be on fire than to eating crappy food.
