Ish Kitchen

Who names their restaurant Ish? I mean is their food going to be ‘meh’? Apparently the intention was that this fusion restaurant would encompass a little bit of everything, hence the name. Ish Kitchen is located in a small plaza across the street from Denny’s on Rosemead Blvd. Unfortunately it’s a bit hidden amongst all the construction that has been going on in the area.

The staff is Cantonese. Ish has some affordable lunch specials. It’s $6.50 for a pretty large portion along with a free drink with free refills. They also currently have a 10% Yelp check-in discount. They also have alcohol available for all those drinkers out there. Don’t forget Happy Hour specials either! The ambiance is pretty nice. I’ll definitely be back!

Duck Confit Flatbread, Spicy Tuna over Crispy Rice, Beef tongue mini street tacos with lychee QQ pearls, scallions, and spicy vinaigrette. It was really unique.
